Knowledge Base
This is an archive of information provided to you to help you become more self-sufficient. There are many different ways to clone, but these are the four most common ways to clone. Please select one of the following options to learn more. The basic idea of cloning is to take one plant and make many copies that are exactly the same. The advantages of cloning are great over seed for many reasons. When you clone a plant, the clone is the same age as the plant that you took it from. This is good because you don't have to wait the full time for a seed to produce the fruit or flower, it will be on the same time schedule as the plant you took it from. There is only one disadvantage to cloning, and that is if you are breeding plants, you will not want to clone your plants, you will need to grow them from seed to get the results that you want.
